"The problem of Hell is an ethical problem in religion in which the existence of Hell for the punishment of souls is regarded as inconsistent with the notion of a just, moral, and omnibenevolent God." Preceding this, I have included an excerpt from Wikipedia defining the Problem of Hell. This is something I have pondered for a long time, as have many other atheists. I have engaged in conversation with several Christians I know personally about this topic. No one seems to be able to give me a solid answer. Thus, this is my question to you, Christians of Reddit. How do you justify an eternal hell?? I am open to healthy and respectful debate. My goal is not to de-convert you. I ask that you do not try to convert me back to Christianity. My goal is to encourage reasoning and critical thinking skills while learning more about how Christians think. Thank you for taking your time to talk and for keeping this a respectful and productive environment.
